2019 Australia's Wild Colonial Bushrangers 'C' Mintmark Silver Proof Coin, The Bold, The Bad and the Ugly. Colonial Australia was a dangerous place, with renegades known as bushangers roaming the roads and towns. In the 1860's drover Frederick Ward and his Aboriginal partner, Many Ann Bugg, carried out a bold bushranging spree that took them from the Hunter Valley to the Queensland border. Known as 'Captain Thunderbolt' and 'The Captain's Lady'; Ward and Bugg attracted public sympathies for their gallantry and acts of daring. With this fine silver coin, the Royal Australian Mint recalls the bushrangers whose exploits created Australian Legends. Mintage 5000. Certificate of Authenticity is included with this coin numbered 600.
